Babe on Oh yes I do remember them I loved them especially the plain in red bag I always think of them when I go down the crisp aisle in my local supermarket I wish they would come back They remind me of my childhood :.
Tonytiger64 on Random thought, anyone remember potato puffs in School tuck time about and being encouraged to save token cut out from packet to send off for a little jigsaw puzzle of the map of Great Britain? BillsLad on Yes I very much remember Potato Puffs when I was at school, they were my favourite, much better than traditional crisps.
I recall the token on the packet too, though I only remember plain flavoured in the red bag. I don't know when they disappeared but I would really love them back as long they were made exactly as they were then and not tampered with in any way. Gray on I remember them fondly and were always available either in the tuck shop or corner shop on the way to school. The beef flavour were my favourites and wish they would bring them back.
February on Yes, absolutely loved them, my favourite by far, plain ones were the best! Please bring them back. I also recall as a small kid 60's getting a similar product freshly fried at an exhibition stall in Glasgow's Kelvin hall.. Where can I find Puffs?? Thread starter Mikepriester Start date Apr 24, Mikepriester Distinguished Member. Seriously, I used to love them. Could have loads and they would never fill that empty feeling.
Graham27 Well-known Member. Unless someone else is making them under license, it seems that they've stopped producing them. Wikipedia said:.
This was apparently due to falling sales. Despite a demand to bring the retro snacks back, Burtons have no intention of producing them again, they now concentrate on their biscuits range.

Can't seem to find the email now. IronGiant Moderator. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think it's a cached page; because if you click for larger picture it disappears, and if you try and put any in your basket nothing happens IronGiant said:. Unfortunately, Potato Puffs were discontinued about three years ago and the company have no plans for their re-introduction. Saw the thread title and thought:- Why not ask the Honey Monster.
