What is the difference between frost and unholy dk

Wish me luck. Gyrotex, as you've worked your way into the expansion, would you change any of your thoughts on what are the most casual friendly specs to play? I enjoy frost waaaayyy more than unholy, but unholy is meta right now, so is really hard to get into groups.

Do you plan on doing a video like this for Havoc? Great content as aways. I've never played Frost. Unholy for years and the past two xpacs Blood. May have to give Frost a whirl. Warcraft logs shows 14k mythic logs for unholy and about 6. To answer your question, both specs handle most fights equally well- although for unholy- much easier to dot adds and maximize cleave without having maneuver much.

Frost requires to get in the thick of things with breath of sindragosa, frostsythe, or remorseless winter range requirement less forgiving. If you are coming from blood, you might find unholy an easier spec to play. After playing both specs, I can say that I personally enjoy Frost spec more. Unholy has a lot of damage tied up in passives like virulent plague, festering wound bursts , pet damage, dnd, etc. Thanks Zenzy! I've always enjoyed DoT classes but the ones I like Boomie, Aff Lock get destroyed versus any melee, so looking for other options.

Also, seems that when I watch Blizz arena finals, they always seem to go for the DK, is that because they are considered squishy? However once you get into deep dampening and death strike isn't as potent it's much easier to kill them. An average ladder game won't last nearly as long as some of the TR games though. Unholy becomes rewarding when you have the GCDs to spend on setup - nothing disrupts the flow more than a group dying with a bunch of unburst festering wounds.
